LINKAGES and its partners developed nutrition protocols to remind workers of information to be shared
and procedures to be followed at six contact points with mothers:
- antenatal
- immediate postpartum
- postpartum and family planning
- immunization
- growth monitoring/well child
- sick child consultations
The protocols cover such topics as infant and young child feeding, micronutrient
supplementation, and maternal nutrition.
