Family Support

Behavior: Fathers, grandmothers, and other family members encourage and support breastfeeding women.

• A good father makes sure that his children take only breastmilk for the first six months of life, so that they grow up strong and intelligent.
• A grandmother can help her daughters and daughters-in-law practice exclusive breastfeeding so that their babies grow up healthy.
• Family members can support a breastfeeding woman by making sure she has the time she needs to exclusively breastfeed.
