Training Modules LINKAGES has worked on developing LAM training modules of varying lengths for three different audiences. LINKAGES' LAM Module for health and family planning service providers and program staff from child survival, reproductive health, and family planning projects. The time required to complete this module is 9 1/2 hours plus a 2-4 hour practicum. LAM Learning Session (from Freedom from Hunger's Family Planning Training Module) for community-based workers who facilitate women's groups. This session takes about 30 minutes and can be used in almost any group-based learning context. Breastfeeding Management and LAM: Training of Trainers for physicians and midwives in primary health care services. This training of trainers takes 2 weeks.
